ASSISTANT MANAGER: GRAPHIC DESIGN AND DIGITAL MARKETING

Minimum Requirements: A recognized three - year Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma in Graphic Design/Multimedia/Videography/Photography/Visual Communication • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience • Proficiency in PC software (ADOBE InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw), and PC based hardware • Proficiency in audio-visual and editing programmes: Adobe Premier Pro,After Effects, Pro Tools, Audacity • Must be computer literate • Full understanding of all social media platforms • A valid driver’s license is essential •

Duties: Develop professional creative concepts for PPSA publications such as the Annual Report; Annual Performance Plan; Strategic Plan; Internal Newsletter; external newsletter and educational material such as brochures; infographics; posters and booklets. Design and layout of artwork for brand touchpoints; promotional items, vehicle branding and marketing collateral complying with PPSA Corporate Identity Manual and related principles• Liaise with printers on the production of all institutional branding and publications • Manage multimedia content, including photographs, videos and digital platforms • Develop interactive graphics for PPSA social media • Develop creative concepts for institutional campaigns, projects, events and exhibitions • Manage PPSA online and digital branding • Contribute to the creation of creative marketing campaigns across social media, the PPSA website, email and all other digital platforms • Drive PPSA brand awareness and lead generation through digital channels • Use digital platforms like blogs, social media, websites, email marketing and online display ads to generate leads and advertise PPSA services, information and products • Maintaining the PPSA brand’s online presence •

SENIOR MANAGER: COMPLAINTS AND STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

Requirements : A SAQA recognised Bachelor’s degree (NQF7) in the field of Law, Marketing, Communications, Public Administration • A relevant postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage • Accredited training certificates in Stakeholder Management and Communication • 8 years’ relevant experience of which 5 years should have been at Middle Management level • Experience in working in a legal environment will be an added advantage •Knowledge and experience in stakeholder management, International Relations and Communication.• Understanding of legal prescripts dealing with complaints resolution processes • Relevant experience Customer Relations/Complaints handling, public awareness and community outreach work, marketing, events management, Call Centre management • Proficiency in at least 3 of the indigenous languages will be an advantage • Good understanding of Cooperative Governance Frameworks • Knowledge of strategic planning, financial management, project management, human resources management practices, change management principles and outreach. • Valid driver’s license and excellent skills in computer packages •
Duties : Manage the implementation of the Integrated Access and Stakeholder Management Strategy and Implementation Plan • Coordinate outreach and stakeholder relations management and prepare reports thereon • Coordinate international relations and ensuring reporting • Develop/review strategies, policies and programmes for implementation and management of case or complaint intake, preliminary assessment and customer service • Manage Intake, Assessments and Customer Service • Manage Reception, Registry and Call Centre • Ensure the development and implementation of effective Customer Service Management processes • Develop strategy to facilitate access to PPSA services by all communities • Assist in the execution of high-profile engagements • Manage the finalisation of emergency matters in support of the Complaints Resolution Officer • Develop business intelligence reports on reported complaints • Manage Human and Financial Resources (asset management, human and financial resources).

SPOKESPERSON

(Fixed term contract linked to the term of the Public Protector)
Requirements : A 4-year qualification in Law, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or in any other related field • A minimum of 8 years relevant experience with 5 years of middle management experience of which 3 years must have been in the role of Spokesperson • Experience in strategic communication and stakeholder management is a requirement • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel •

Duties : Provide support to the Public Protector and facilitate faster and improved service delivery through media engagement strategies and stakeholder liaison • Drive issues through communication and maintain professional relationship with the media • Establish and maintain a positive media profile of the Public Protector South Africa • Daily media monitoring and analysis in order to respond intelligently and rapidly to issues that affect the Public Protector South Africa • Plan and facilitate quarterly media briefings • Participate in collective planning around communication and give media support • Communicate the Public Protector’s message to all relevant media • Conduct research for the Public Protector on issues pertaining to the mandate of the organization • Build relationships with stakeholders, manage media relations, and ensure accurate response to media enquiries •
