Purpose of the role:
To lead the Productivity and Networks technical teams as an expert leading specialist in driving excellence in the configuration and management of the Productivity Cloud Platform (i.e., M365/GSUITE) encompassing Messaging, Unified Communications and Networks.

Purpose of the role:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in Modern/Cloud Platforms
- Azure/M365 Certification desirable
- ITIL V3 Certification
- COBIT 5 Certifications
Duties:
- Play the Lead Architecture Role for the Productivity Cloud Platforms and Network Infrastructure
- Play a pivotal role in the technical governance of the platforms as the platform owner
- Lead the Networks specialist(s) in the following areas: WAN, Cloud Virtual Networks (i.e., Azure Networks/Google Virtual Networks/AWS VPC)
- Lead the UC/Messaging Teams in the following Hybrid Exchange – OnPrem and Online, M365 Collaboration Platform (Teams, Yammer etc.)
- Lead the Unified Communication Discipline: In the design and implementation of Telephony, Video Conferencing and Voice Communications services solutions to cater for a hybrid workforce.
- Play a pivotal role the Management the Cloud Directory Services space i.e., Azure AD/ AWS Identity Services/ Google Cloud Identity

- Deploy and configure complex M365 cloud resources
- Troubleshoot and isolate network and access failures

NETWORKS ENGINEER

Purpose of the role:
Network Engineer role is to design, build, and implement network systems across the enterprise.
This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all local and wide area network connections, corporate servers, associated software, and communication links. This person will also troubleshoot network performance issues, as well as analyze network traffic and provide capacity planning solutions.
Requirements:
• BSC Computer Science Degree / BTech (Information Technology) / Information Security or related degree with at least 3 years’ experience in IT Infrastructure and networks field.
• Extensive hands-on technical knowledge of network systems, protocols, and standards such as Ethernet, Token ring, LAN, WAN, frame relay, xDSL, TCP/IP, ATM, T1, 802.11x, and so on.
• Cabling infrastructure installation and management
• Strong knowledge of network management and analysis tools
• Extensive client/server and operating system experience.
• Experience working in a switched and routed environment.
• Hardware, software, and network connection troubleshooting experience.
• Working technical knowledge of current network hardware.
• Skilled at installing/configuring hubs, switches, routers, bridges, etc.
• Knowledge of Malware and anti-virus software (Defender/McAfee/TrendMicro etc), firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other network security measures
Duties:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies for network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory, related documentation, and technical specifications information.
- Plan and implement any improvement, modification, or replacement of network infrastructure components.
- Plan and manage budgeting for network hardware and software procurement.
- Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts.
- Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and associated training for network resource administration, appropriate use, and disaster recovery.
- Establish connectivity and uptime service level agreements.
- Monitor and analyze network performance across the organization’s LANs, WANs, and Wireless deployments.
- Ensure the stable operation and efficient performance of company networks.
- Monitor system capacity to determine its effect on performance and recommend enhancements to meet new or changing network demands.
- Identify and remedy network performance bottlenecks.
- Configure and troubleshoot servers, including e-mail, print, and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software.
- Install and configure all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, UPSs, and so on.
- Inspect, maintain, and where necessary replace network cabling, voice/data jacks, and other network-related equipment.
- Ensure network and IP connectivity of all workstations, application servers, and back-end office infrastructure

DATABASE MANAGEMENT LEAD

Purpose of the role:
The Database Management Lead role is to lead a team of Database experts in the design, installation, monitoring, maintenance, and performance tune production databases while ensuring high levels of data availability. This individual is also responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying software. This role carries the Data Platforms Strategic direction and leadership of Data Platforms team in the PIC.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Minimum: 5 years’ experience gained within Database Administration.
- IT Industry Certifications in Database Management
- Database Administration skills
- Database design and architecture
- Analytics and reporting
- SQL development and scripting skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft environment
- ITIL processes
- Knowledge of IT Legislation and Regulatory Acts
Duties:
- Assess and develop long-term strategic goals for production databases in conjunction with data owners and department managers.
- Work with application development staff to develop database architectures, coding standards, and quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Design and implement redundant systems, policies, and procedures for disaster recovery and data archiving to ensure effective protection and integrity of data assets.
- Conduct research and make recommendations on database products, services, protocols, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
- Create models for new database development and/or changes to existing ones.
- Install and configure relevant network components to ensure database access as well as database consistency and integrity.
- Respond to and resolve database access and performance issues.
- Monitor database system details within the database, including stored procedures and execution time, and implement efficiency improvements.
- Monitor, optimize and allocate physical data storage for database systems.
- Plan and coordinate data migrations between systems.
- Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to databases.
- Create, or support creation of, required reports in response to business user needs.
- Perform database transaction and security audits.
- Establish appropriate end-user database access control levels.
- Develop routines for end users to facilitate best practices database use.
- Manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team.
