Purpose of the role: 

To provide foundational support to the Ethics Office. The incumbent will assist in implementing and monitoring the PIC's ethics management framework. 

 

Requirements:

Duties:

Ethics Risk Assessment Support:

Declarations and Validations Management:

Advisory Support:

Duties:

Purpose of the role: 

The Data Analyst is responsible for delivering trusted analytics, reusable data products, quality reporting and actionable insights that enable data driven decision making across investment, operational and corporate functions across the PIC. The role focuses on the full data analytics lifecycle, from business requirements and data analysis through to the design and delivery of data analytical data products, models, visualisation and insights. 

 

Requirements:

·       Bachelors’ Degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar. 

·       Minimum of 6 years’ experience in data analytics, data engineering or analytics role, with at least 4 years’ experience in a financial services institution. 

·       Understanding of asset management and investment data domains, including securities, financial instruments, indices and related market and benchmark data. 

·       Strong understanding of logical and physical data modelling concepts, principles and practices including implementation in relational and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, Databricks). 

·       Demonstrated experience using data analysis and transformation tools such as T‑SQL and Python and working within a modern cloud-based analytics ecosystem leveraging platforms such as Microsoft Fabric (including Dataflows / Data Factory, Lakehouse) and Azure analytics services. 

·       Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including complex data modelling, DAX measures, performance optimisation, and development of enterprise-grade dashboard. 

·       Experience with enterprise data visualisation tools such as IBM Cognos, Tableau and ClickView.

Purpose of the role: 

Provides strategic leadership of the unlisted investment portfolio. This role is responsible for defining, leading, and executing the organisation’s private‑markets investment strategy across private equity, private credit and other illiquid alternative asset classes. The CIO should ensure that private-market investments deliver long‑term value, are selected and monitored through rigorous due diligence, meet portfolio‑level strategic goals, comply with regulatory and governance standards and deliver on the targeted returns. 

 

Minimum Requirements: 

·       At least 10 years of Senior Management experience in the investment management industry with significant experience in managing unlisted investment portfolios over multiple market cycles. 

·       Demonstrated expertise in portfolio management, due diligence, and general partner oversight. 

·       3 years in Executive leadership/Top Management. 

·       Master’s degree (Finance, Economics, Investment Management, or Related). 

 

Preferred Qualifications and Experience: 

·       15+ years of relevant Senior Management experience.

Purpose of the Role 

The Public Investment Corporation SOC Ltd (PIC), one of Africa’s largest asset managers, seeks to appoint an experienced and strategic Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to lead the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function. The CRO will be responsible for defining, implementing, and embedding a robust risk management framework that supports the firm’s investment objectives, regulatory obligations, and long-term sustainability. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CRO will provide independent oversight of investment, market, credit, liquidity, operational, and emerging risks, while fostering a strong  risk culture across the organisation. Minimum requirements: 

·       A Master’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or a related field. 

·       At least 10 years’ senior leadership experience in enterprise risk management within financial services, asset management, banking or a similar complex environment. 

·       Minimum 3 years in Executive leadership/Top Management. 

·       Strong technical knowledge across the full spectrum of financial and non-financial risks and investment experience. 

·       Demonstrated capacity to formulate and lead risk strategy, challenge decisions at executive level, and influence organisational culture. 

·       Proven experience building and maturing ERM capabilities (people, systems, data and analytics). 

·       Understanding of governance, regulatory frameworks and fiduciary obligations applicable to public-sector asset management institutions.

Key Responsibilities 

Enterprise & Investment Risk Oversight: 

·       Develop, maintain and embed the PIC’s enterprise risk management (ERM) framework, ensuring the effective identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting of risks that are aligned to the company’s strategy and risk appetite. 

·       Oversee investment risk across all asset classes, including market, credit, liquidity, counterparty, and concentration risk. 

·       Independently challenge investment decisions, portfolio construction, and risk-return assumptions. 

·       Ensure high-quality risk reporting that supports transparency, compliance and proactive risk management. 

 

Governance & Regulatory Compliance:
