OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
The role is responsible for the provision of the effective, efficient and accurate administration of FFC registrations and licensing processes.
 
 REQUIREMENTS
  • LLB or similar legal qualification.
  • Good background knowledge and understanding of Government policy and legal compliance issues in the Public Sector.
  • Understanding of PPRA policies and procedures relating basic principles of Law relating Insurance.
  • Computer literacy -MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet Explorer) at an intermediate level.
  • Previous working experience on Paper-trail system will be an added advantage.
  • Verbal and Written Communication.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To support the optimization of the section/unit. 
  • To implement the effective and efficient Licensing processes for PPRA.
  • Liaise with Investigate, Mediation, Adjudication unit to verify the evidence that the applicant is eligible to be registered as a Property Practitioner. 
  • Capture the applicant’ s information and upload all the supporting document into the system.
  • Conduct project administration, record keeping and produce project related reports.
  • Engage in problem solving and continuous improvement to maximize output area.
  • Deliver optimal customer service to customers that adds value to the business.
  • Build and maintain healthy sustainable and mutual beneficial relationships with all service providers.
 
 
REMUNERATION: R 7 500, CTC per Month
TERM OF APPOINTMENT: 12 Months contract

INVESTIGATIONS, MEDIATION, ADJUDICATION SECRETARY X2 –HEAD OFFICE

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
The role is responsible for providing legal secretarial and administrative support to legal officers by implementing administrative processes and systems to maintain records, files, and documentation. The role also provides accurate information to prepare for disciplinary meetings and tracking legal queries to ensure the effective investigation, disciplining and resolution of claims.
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • Grade 12 and National Diploma in Paralegal / Legal Secretary. 
  • 3 years’ working experience in a similar environment.
  • Knowledge of customer relations regulations and standards.
  • Knowledge of legislation impacting PPRA.
  • Good Interpersonal, communication and organising skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office package and SAP.
  • Organization and relationship building skills.
  • Previous working experience in Paper-trail system will be an added advantage.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Implement and maintain filling and record management systems.
  • Coordinate disciplinary meetings and prepare related correspondence.
  • Prepare documents and packs for submission to committees.
  • Take minutes in the meetings.
  • Attend to internal and external email and telephonic enquiries. 
  • Provide support for internal stakeholders (e.g., queries, amendments, etc.) when required.
  • Provide administrative support to the department.
  • Compile and provide accurate reports required when by management.
  • To assist with the management of committee meetings
  • Track legal queries and type required legal reports.
 
 
REMUNERATION: Market related remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
