The Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSiRA) with its head office in Eco Park - Centurion is the statutory body regulating the private security industry in South Africa. PSiRA is looking for dynamic experienced and suitably qualified professionals to take up these challenging positions. It is the intention of the Authority to promote representative through the filling of these positions.
ADMINISTRATION AND SECRETARIAT SUPPORT TO THE SENIOR MANAGER: OPERATIONS
Salary: R 318 409 P/A plus benefits (Centurion)
Requirements: National Diploma in Business Administration/Public Administration/Public Management/Office Management and Technology or equivalent NQF level 6 qualification coupled with 2-3 years of rendering secretariat, clerical, and administrative support services to Management● Certificate in Secretarial qualification will be an added advantage● Computer literacy (Microsoft package/Office 365) ● Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and applicable knowledge and experience on the Job may be considered during the selection process.

Essential criteria: Ideal candidate should possess in-depth and demonstrable knowledge and competence in office administration and management function and principles, as well as developing and implementing policies, procedures, processes, systems, and improvements ●In-depth and demonstrable knowledge and competence in secretarial function and principles, as well as developing and implementing related policies, procedures, procedures, systems, and improvements. In-depth and demonstrable knowledge and competence in business management and administration function and principles, as well as developing and implementing policies, procedures, processes, systems, and improvements ●Knowledge or understanding or exposure to protocols and protocol management.
Key Performance Areas: Professional Support: Provide high quality and professional support to the Senior Manager so that they have access to dedicated, effective, and efficient secretarial and administrative services at all times. Meetings, Appointments, Events and Functions: Plan, arrange, organise and coordinate appointments, meetings, events, functions and other engagements, as required by the Senior Manager ● Office Administration: Screening, managing and directing all telephone calls and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner, taking concise, accurate and timeous messages when necessary, providing correct and reliable information when assisting callers and visitors with general enquiries/queries ● Incoming and Outgoing Correspondences: Sort and route incoming and outgoing correspondence and mail of the Senior Manager so that there is no backlog. This includes: communicating and distributing correspondences and information as and when required, accurately recording and managing incoming correspondences of the Senior Manager in order of priority on daily basis, ensuring that fax, email and postal correspondences are checked and replies are made on behalf of the Senior Manager ● Office Management Services: Provide office management services to ensure that the Office of the Senior Manager has all necessary office policies, procedures, processes, and systems in place ● Document Management System: Establish and maintain a reliable, effective, and efficient filing, information and documentation retrieval system/management for the Senior Manager within the filing protocol of the Office to ensure that documents are filed timeously and accurately in the Office and that the Senior Manager has access to correct and up-to-date files as and when requested ● Shared Administrative Support: Ensure the provision of a shared administrative support function within the office to ensure a credible and effective administrative support service is provided to staff at all times. Consolidate regional reports into one report for MANCO and EXCO
