The Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSiRA), with its head office in Centurion, is the statutory body regulating the private security industry in South Africa. PSiRA is seeking dynamic, experienced, and suitably qualified professionals to fill the following challenging position. The Authority intends to promote representativity through the filling of this position.

Salary Range: R 344 860 – R493 210 basic salary p/a plus benefits

Job Description
 
Requirements: Degree or National Diploma in Labour Relations/ LLB or Human Resource Management, Coupled with a minimum of 3- 4 years practical experience in Industrial Relations /Labour relations / Human Resource environment? Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and applicable knowledge and experience on the Job may be considered during the selection process.
 
Essential criteria: In-depth knowledge of South African labour legislation (EEA, BCEA, LRA & other Relevant Legislations) ?Proficiency in MS Office Packages ? Valid driver's license is an essential ? Strong understanding of misconduct and grievance procedures, conflict resolution, mediation, and arbitration procedures ? Computer literacy ? Strong interpersonal, communication and report writing skills.




​Key Performance Areas
: Provide administrative support to the Labour relation unit ? Provide administrative and operational support to the Labour Relations Unit ? Compile and analyze Labour Relations statistics and reports ? Coordinate and manage grievance? Draft charges and representation in the internal disciplinary hearings ?Process and implement outcomes of disciplinary hearings ? Support all Offices with any Labour Relations functions and compliance ? Dispute Management and Representing the Authority in CCMA? Policy Development? Conduct investigations Office management: Coordinate office administration for Labour Relations matters (venue bookings, scheduling, documentation)? Schedule and confirm disciplinary hearings and grievance dates ? Prepare bundles for disciplinary hearings, disputes and grievances ? Ensure accurate completion and filing of Labour Relations documentation? Facilitate workshops and contribute to policy development ? Support collective bargaining processes and manage engagements with organised labour ? Manage stationery and administrative needs of the Labour Relations Unit? Research and policy alignment? Capturing of Labour Relations Statistics on Sage 300.
