Job Description
Key Performance Areas: ? Professional Support: Provide high quality and professional support to the Senior Manager so that they have access to dedicated, effective, and efficient secretarial and administrative services at all times. ? Meetings, Appointments, Events and Functions: Plan, arrange, organise and coordinate appointments, meetings, events, functions and other engagements, as required by the Senior Manager. ? Office Administration: Screen, manage and direct telephone calls and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner. Taking concise, accurate and timeous messages when necessary. Providing correct and reliable information when assisting callers and visitors with general enquiries/queries.  ? Incoming and Outgoing Correspondences: Sort and route incoming and outgoing correspondence of the Senior Manager so that there is no backlog. ? Typing Services: provide a high quality and accurate typing service to the Senior Manager. ? Office Management Services: • Provide office management services to ensure that the Office of the Senior Manager has all necessary office policies, procedures, processes, and systems in place. ? Document Management System: Establish and maintain a reliable, effective, and efficient filing, information and documentation retrieval system/management for the Senior Manager within the filing protocol of the Office to ensure that documents are filed timeously and accurately in the Office and that the Senior Manager has access to correct and up-to-date files as and when requested. • Shared Administrative Support: Ensure the provision of a shared administrative support function within the office to ensure a credible and effective administrative support service is provided to staff at all times.

Qualification Required
Key Performance Areas: Administration of Accreditation of Private Security Training Providers: Perform general administration and customer services within the training department • Support client services in the training unit • Receive and process applications received for security training providers accreditations • Undertake stakeholder engagement in respect of application processes to security training provider • Coordinate and refer submission for inspection at law enforcement • Review application on receipt of inspection report and update online system • Provide immediate feedback related to non-compliant applications • Finalise application for new application of new training centre • Prepare feedback letters on audit accreditation of training centre • Plan and coordinate travel arrangements for training workshops.
Quality Assurance for Accreditation and Recognition of Prior Learning:  Ensure quality assurance on applications received in line with the instructor first, upgrades and recognition of prior learning • Receive and process applications for accreditation of training officers • Engage stakeholders in respect of application processes for security training • Screen instructors and submit forms to the team leader • Issue immediate feedback to clients (via email) after screening non complaint applications • Update the online system for approval status of the applicants • Prepare feedback letters and finalise applications for accredited instructors? Reporting and Quality Control • Perform monthly reporting on course results • Compile statistics and reports on security service provider listings • Undertake processing of courses daily, quarterly, and annually • Perform quality control of course reports on the online database • Engage with stakeholders in respect of application processes to security training providers.

Qualification Required
Key Performance Areas: Conducting quality assurance and auditing of security service providers accredited • Independent planning of industry training regulatory tasks considering the security training providers registered and accredited by Quality Assurance Partners for the private security programs considering complaints received, operational targets and other responsibilities •Quality assurance of security service providers certification • Independent quality assurance and monitoring of training canters, referrals of complaints/ illegal practices regarding improper conduct of security training provider’s including malpractices in administration and implementation of industry training. Engage all relevant stakeholders for the identified misconduct and communicate to the Industry Training Manager and the Law Enforcement Department. Support Capacity Building initiatives •Evaluate and recommend security training providers for accreditation with relevant quality councils •Oversee the management of training implemented by accredited security training providers •Ensure quality assurance of learner achievement for the implementation of legacy and occupational aligned qualifications •Verify the credentials of security trainers identified by security training providers for the delivery of training •Support the development of standards and programmes for the industry occupations and conduct training needs analysis •Promote compliance with minimum professional standards by security training providers in various forums •Prepare for scheduled capacity building workshops. Liaise with industry stakeholders• Engage all critical strategic partners in relation to industry training matters •Coordinate and support the AQP (annual quarterly plan) in management of the external integrated assessments •Communicate with prospective security officers(learner) •Synergies the industry training matters with interrelated PSiRA departmental unit for the unit effectiveness on the value chain •Attend the industry training meetings forum as and when required.
