SALARY GROUP: Management

DEPARTMENT: Strategic Asset Development (SAD)
POST NUMBER: TBAREFERENCE: R&S/CCMP/SAD/10
DEPARTMENTAL MISSION: To provide expert strategic leadership and advice in the management of mega projects undertaken at PRASA.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs):
1. Provide expert and strategic advice to management.
2. Provide management support on the organisation’s CAPEX program.
3. Promote good corporate governance and compliance.
4. Management of stakeholder relationships.
5. Reporting.
6. Support audit management.
KNOWLEDGE:
• PFMA, GRAP, National Treasury regulations, IFRS.
• SCM and human capital management practices.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• LLM
• Articles from a reputable law firm or pupillage
• Admission as an attorney or Advocate of the High Court of South Africa
• Registration with Corporate Counsel Association of South Africa (CCASA)
ADDED ADVANTAGE
• Post graduate diploma in Law
• Have demonstrable experience as a commercial attorney with proven track record in Mega Projects and/or working in SOE’s.
EXPERIENCE
20 years’ experience at a senior level dealing with commercial transactions in a medium to large company/group.
