DEPARTMENTAL MISSION: To lead and manage talent acquisition and HR Administration service in the organisation
OUTPUTS:
• To lead Group Talent Acquisition strategy with the aim to enable long term and immediate organisational talent requirements.
• To develop policies and standard operating procedures for, Talent acquisition and assessment, Probation, Volunteerism, Secondments,
Induction, orientation and HCM Administration.
• Coordinate acquisition interviews, talent screening, assessments etc.
• Review and advice on/approve job advertisements, screening/assessments reports, offers etc.
• Monitor and evaluate the implementation of policies and procedures across the Group.
• Promote business understanding of Talent Management and support talent management culture.
• Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders (departmental heads, employees, labour unions, talent search companies, media companies etc)
• Manage human, physical, and financial resources in line with organisational policies, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure safekeeping of records and the integrity of data on the Recruitment and Personnel Administration modules
• Analyse and report on Talent Acquisition and HCM Administration trends, risks etc

RISK MANAGER
SALARY GROUP: Manager

REFERENCE:
DEPARTMENTAL MISSION: To ensure effective implementation and monitoring of all Risk functional plans and compliance thereof occupational health, safety and environment for employees, visitors and contractors thus achieving Strategic SHE objectives of the division.
OUTPUTS:
Implementation of SHE strategies plans, programmes etc. Within the Division
• Evaluate PRASA’s compliance with SHE laws and applicable local government’s by-laws in each Region where PRASA operates.
• Develop/facilitate development and communication of Divisional Audits, Surveys, Inspections and Risk Assessments plans.
• Monitor implementation of standards, processes, and procedures across the Division
• Lead processes of setting Divisional SHE goals and priorities.
Provide SHE management services
• Conduct Audits, Inspections and Risk Assessments
• Lead the process of establishing Divisional SHE governance structures
• Participate in the Divisional SHE and review meetings including national depots
• Facilitate/conduct appropriate SHE awareness and training
• Support management in identifying and managing (controls) SHE related threats and risks through and updated risk register
• Support Management and Project Manager (Head Office and Regional Offices) in incorporating SHE risk assessments in business initiatives and projects from design phases
• Guide and liaise with management on SHE management plans
• Monitor the execution of corrective actions based on findings or deviations (internal and external)
• Advise and participate in the identification of the SHE and Fire continual improvement plans.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on SHE related legislations, processes, standards etc.
• Coordinate the Medical Surveillance program.
• Coordinate compensation for occupational injuries and diseases
Environment
• Promote compliance with environmental laws, including audit reports to Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) and Department of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment (DFFE) annually or as and when required by both Departments.
• On projects that requires Environment studies/test/permits ensure compliance with NEMA (EIA/WUI, etc)
• Liaise with Department of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment (DFFE), Water and Sanitation on the conditions of EIA and Water Use License.
• Ensure compliance to Record od Decisions from the relevant department
Occurrence Management
• Align the Divisional Framework for identification, effective investigation, recording and reporting of occurrences and non-conformities to the PRASA Group Framework
• Facilitate method of reporting occurrence and closing the loop to avoid re-occurrence
• Facilitate joint-fire safety drills by PRASA and local municipalities
• Conduct Drills on as an when needed basis
• Ensure legal training is done (SHE representative, fire marshals, first aiders, incident investigators for the division
KNOWLEDGE:
• Knowledge of related SHE legislations (Health & Safety Act (Act 85 of 93 Railway Safety Act; (Act 16) Environmental Acts; (NEMA), Compensation for Occupational injuries and Diseases Act (COIDA) and their regulations

• Seven (7) Year’s experience in junior management level

• Valid driver’s license
