SENIOR MANAGER: COMMUNICATIONS
SALARY GROUP: Senior Management

DEPARTMENT: Group Corporate Affairs
DEPARTMENTAL MISSION
To lead and manage sound communications services within the Group.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Degree in Communications/Marketing/Journalism/Public Relations
ADDED ADVANTAGE
•Postgraduate NQF Level 8 Qualification
EXPERIENCE
• 8 years’ Communication/Stakeholder Management/Public Relations experience with at least 3 years’ middle management experience or supervisory experience.
ADDED ADVANTAGE
• 7 years’ experience in communication, stakeholder management and Public Relations
• 5 years’ experience in Government communications across multiple spheres would be advantageous
• 2 years’ experience in junior or middle management
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs)
• Develop and maintain Communications frameworks.
• Lead Communications operations.
• Oversee corporate governance, compliance, and risk management.
• Management of resources.
• Reporting and advisory services.
• Provide management and general reports on communications matters.
TRAINING & KNOWLEDGE
• Communications tools and reputation enhancement strategies
• Corporate identity, Content and Social Investment management systems and strategies
• HCM, SCM, project, change management procedures and practices
