DEPARTMENTAL MISSION
To provide specialist governance and quality assurance support over Internal Audit activities, practices, methodologies, and programs.
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree in Internal Auditing/Accounting/Risk Management (NQF 7)
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
• Professional Membership: IIA/ SAICA/ ISACA
 
EXPERIENCE
• 10 years’ experience in auditing of which 5 years should be at the management level
 
ADDED ADVANTAGE
• Certified External Quality Assurance Assessor
• Honours Degree in Internal Auditing/Accounting/Risk Management (NQF 8)
• CISA or CRMA
• Experience in Internal Audit quality assurance and governance reporting
 
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs)
• Provide support and assistance to the CAE in the delivery of the internal audit mandate.
• Plan, execute and report on Quality Assurance and Improvement Programme (QAIP) reviews (internal assessments, updates to the IA Enablement System, external quality assurance reviews, etc.)
• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP)
• Keep abreast of changes and emerging best practices of the IA profession (from a professional practice and quality assurance perspective).
• Track and report action items from other assurance providers (external audit, compliance, and risk management, etc.).

POSITION MISSION
To lead and manage the delivery of the organisation’s ICT services
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• NQF Level 8 Business Management Qualification (MAP OR MDP)

EXPERIENCE

• Develop a service strategy, policies and standard operating procedure (SOPs).

• Coordinate and control changes to ICT services and infrastructure, minimizing risk and maintaining service continuity.

• Establish, monitor, and report on service level agreements (SLAs) with stakeholders, ensuring that services meet agreed-upon standards and performance metrics.
• Act as a liaison between IT teams and Business Units/Departments, ensuring clear communication regarding service updates, changes, and issues.
• Report on service management activities (performance, user satisfaction, and incident trends).
• Provide insights for management and to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide advice and consultative expertise on ICT services.
• Lead and direct the team in the achievement of set objectives and targets.
• Manage human, physical, and financial resources in accordance with the organisation’s policies and procedures.
