DEPARTMENTAL MISSION: To prepare the consolidated annual financial statements, balance sheet management and manage the AGSA audit process.
OUTPUTS:
•Prepare the full set of Group consolidated financial statements.
•Review the Group consolidated annual financial statements.
•Compile monthly balance sheet management reports to assist management in decision making.
•Collate information and prepare audit working paper file including all necessary supporting schedules and registers.
•Liaise with Internal Audit in obtaining assurance that the Group consolidated annual financial statements comply with reporting framework.
•Provide overall support on the audit process and AFS preparation for internal and external audits.
•Review and develop SOPs in compliance with accounting principles and legislative requirements (e.g., Treasury Regulations).
•Review and advise on AFS preparation system requirements to ensure relevant systems are in place to support the Group.
•Manage human resources in terms of quality of work and application of policies (performance management, leave, time and attendance etc.).
•Ensure safekeeping of Corporate Finance documents.

•Grade 12
•Bachelor’s Degree Accounting (NQF 7)
•Registered with an Accounting Professional body
Experience:
•10 years’ finance management experience. Extensive experience in preparation of consolidated annual financial statements in CaseWare and managing the AGSA audit process in a group organization

DEPARTMENTAL MISSION: To provide secretarial and administration support services to the Executive.
 
OUTPUTS:
• Provide executive support by Monitoring and managing all phone calls, emails, and priority actions
• Coordinate meetings and appointments with stakeholders (internal and external)
• Maintain awareness of all issues being handled by the Executive to understand priorities and enable quick responses
• Provide administrative support.by supporting departmental project.
• Prepare, obtain sign-off and distribute documentation, communication briefs, Board of Control (BoC)/BoC subcommittee/GEXCO packs
• Solve and or re-direct queries.
• Facilitate payments by creating purchase requisitions (PRs) for departmental activities
• Request supplier documents and ensure that they are loaded on the Vendor system
