DEPARTMENTAL MISSION: To provide leadership and operational management at the regional operations level by implementing best practice, policy, procedure, and financial controls in order to ensure Revenue and Patronage growth.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs):
1. Provide leadership on the management of the regional operations plan.
2. Manage, Control and Lead Operations.
3. Achieve the set Fare Revenue and Patronage Targets.
4. Manage Stakeholder Relationships.
5. Management Human Resources.
6. Manage Risk and Compliance.
7. Monthly expenditure and income generated.
8. Asset Maintenance.
9. Customer Service.
10. Facilities Management

PFMA, BCEA, Act 85, POPIA, RSR Act, Govt Policy on Rail etc.
Relevant city by – laws, SANS Facilities Codes, ISO 9000 etc.

10 years’ Rail experience of which a minimum of 5 years should be at a senior management level.
Valid Driver’s License

CAPABILITIES:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Matric or equivalent
• Degree/ND in Security Studies/ Diploma in Policing, Police Administration or Corrections Management, or equivalent
• SAP Clearance
• Accreditation /Registration with PSIRA
• Grade A (Security management)
Firearms Certificate of competence
ADDED ADVANTAGE:
• Postgraduate in Security studies or related.
• 5 Years experience within the Law enforcement (SAPS)
EXPERIENCE
• At least 10 years’ experience in a management role leading security team, police / military / operational
• Experience working in security, investigations, or related field
