SENIOR MANAGER: INFRASTRUCTURE
SALARY GROUP: SENIOR MANAGEMENT

DEPARTMENTAL MISSION
To lead and manage regional infrastructure maintenance services to ensure the availability, reliability and sustainability of all rail infrastructure assets to enable effective train operations (Electrical, Perway, Signaling and Telecommunications systems).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Grade 12/ Matric
• Degree in the Engineering field (Civil/Electrical/Telecommunications)
• Valid Driver’s license
• Registration as a Professional Engineer
• 10 years’ experience in railway engineering of which minimum 5 years should be at management level
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs)
• Development of regional railway infrastructure maintenance plans
• Leadership and management of regional infrastructure operations across the four disciplines
• Governance, Risk, Oversight and Reporting

TRAINING & KNOWLEDGE
• Level 4 of Safety, Standards and Training (SST)
• Legislation applicable to PRASA Technical operations e.g. RSR Act, OHSA, etc.

• Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)

DEPARTMENTAL MISSION
To provide strategic leadership and oversight of Intersite’s capital investment programme, commercial development, lead strategic business development opportunities and renewable energy & sustainability programmes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Honours Degree in Property Development, Infrastructure Finance, Urban Economics, Built Environment or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s license.
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in capital project delivery, urban development, infrastructure finance, or property investment, of which 5 years must be at senior management level.
• Proven track record on leading feasibility packaging, public-private investment structuring, and multi-stakeholder engagements.
ADDED ADVANTAGE
• Masters Degree or Executive level leadership training in Infrastructure investment.
• SAPOA, SA Council for Planners, or Infrastructure Investment bodies.
