DEPARTMENT: Group Legal, Risk and Compliance
DEPARTMENTAL MISSION: To develop, lead, and manage integrated organisational resilience and sustainability programme within the PRASA Group.
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree in Risk Management/Finance Management/Internal Auditing or relevant field
 
EXPERIENCE:
  • 8 years’ Risk Management/Business Continuity Management with at least 5 years’ experience, middle management experience or supervisory experience.
 
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs)
  • Develop organisational resilience and sustainability policy, frameworks, procedures, and systems
  • Align and review organisational resilience and sustainability strategies and plans with business needs or other developments, both internally and externally.
  • Lead and manage organisational resilience and sustainability activities
  • Determine the section’s resource requirements in accordance with the expected deliverables.
  • Provide advice and consultative expertise on organisational resilience and sustainability matters.

To lead and manage asset development functions for the organization.
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Grade 12 certificate. 
  • B Degree in Real Estate or in a relevant commercial field or any relevant field in the Built Environment. 
  • Valid Code 08 Driver’s license. 
 
EXPERIENCE:
  • 10 years’ commercial/ business development/ planning and/or consulting experience of which 3 years should be at management level in the real estate industry.
 
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs)
  • Develop asset development frameworks, and plans.
  • Lead and manage the business/ asset development portfolio.
  • Package Development Opportunities and Source Third Party partnerships.
  • Manage Stakeholder Relationships.

To ensure technical support for the Facilities maintenance (stations, bridges, structures, bulk services and support property) function through effective and efficient utilization of procurement methods, contract management, project management, asset condition assessments and managing safety in the rail environment.
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • National Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Building/ Building Science
  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Valid Code 08 Driver’s License
 
EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience (1 year as a trainee Engineering Technician and 1 year working experience)
