Mission
To manage, control and monitor daily station cleaning and coach cleaning operations and to ensure cleanliness of PRASA buildings in the region. To ensure effective and efficient pest control and waste management activities. To provide leadership, role modelling and direction to the delivery teams within soft services areas. To be accountable for excellent service delivery within the soft service team activities and operational objectives ensuring continuous improvements are made.
 
 
KPA
• Manage external suppliers’ contracts and assume full responsibility for the management of soft service against contracted scope of works.
• Manage budget and expenditure.
• Develop and implement cleaning processes.
• Develop cleaning solutions for coaches, yards and turn around deports.
• Develop a soft services improvement plan for each service.
• Implement Health and Safety environmental programmes.
• Providing high level supervision to Coach cleaning and Station cleaning contractors.
• Proactively manage quality of service and introduce innovations in line with the market trends.
• Arrange and attend monthly & quarterly review meetings with managers of all contractors and clients
 
Knowledge: OHS Act 85 Regulations, Computer literate, Report writing, Statutory requirements, HR Policies, Understanding the importance of managing a site and the services provided, ability to calculate penalties of not meeting KPIs.

Minimum Requirements:
• Grade 12
• National Diploma in Business management / Property management / Facilities or equivalent.
• 3 years’ experience as Soft service Supervisor / Coach cleaning supervisor.
• Valid code 8 driver’s license.
