OVERBERG DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY
The Overberg District Municipality has the following vacancy in the Directorate Community Services, Department Roads Services, to be filled as soon as possible.
SPECIAL WORKMAN: ROADS
(1x CALEDON)
Requirements:
· Grade 10
· Driver’s license code C1 with PDP
· 2 years relevant handyman experience in civil works
· Applicants must be literate in at least two or three languages of the Western Cape
Duties:
· Maintenance and erecting of road signs
· Establish and maintain road marks, road lines and kilometre markers
· Clearing and deforesting of road reserves
· Perform supporting services during reseal, re-gravel and construction works
Remuneration: (T-7 = R165 984 – R215 400 per annum) plus the normal fringe benefits of a Local Authority.
