Salary: Salary: R 552 081 per annum (plus 37% in lieu of benefits)
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in health sciences field. At least 5 years’ experience in health care, 3 of which must have been in direct patient care. Experience must include health data analysis and/or management of health information systems. Good communication (written and verbal), Interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills. Postgraduate qualification in health care will serve as an advantage. Experience in health quality management/case management/project management in healthcare will serve as an added advantage.
Duties: Manage the administration of the annual returns information system. Assist health facilities with annual return submission processes. Support the development of procedures and protocols (governance systems) for the submission of annual returns on the annual information system. Monitor and verify the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of data submitted. Maintain and monitor an updated national health establishment register. Assist with any ad-hoc tasks required by the unit.

Good communication skills (written and verbal). Planning and organizational skills. Computer and report writing skills. Willingness to travel. A valid driver’s license.
Duties: Support the implementation of OHSC Certification and Enforcement framework. Support the process of collaboration among business units towards the certification of health establishments. Administer the process of collaboration among OHSC Divisions towards the enforcement of compliance by health establishments’ compliance with the prescribed norms and standards. Review inspection reports for certification or enforcement purposes. Manage litigation emanating from Certification and Enforcement decisions. Implement and report on the Divisional targets, work outputs and achievements. Co-ordinate ad-hoc hearing relating to certification and enforcement decisions. Contribute to policy development within the division. Contribute to own and staff performance. Provide support on compilation of the OHSC Strategy plan, annual performance plan, reports annual budget, and division operating plan. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on matters relating to the Division. Comply with and utilise the OHSC governance framework and management systems.

Requirements: A four-year bachelor’s degree in the legal field. At least 5 years’ experience in a legal environment which must include legislative and contract drafting. Must be an admitted Attorney or Advocate. Analytical and innovative thinking skills. Good judgement, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Planning, organising and networking skills. Computer skills in MS office. A valid driver’s licence. Experience in board support in the public/health or social services/regulatory environment would be an added advantage.
Duties: Provide legal advice to management and the Board of the OHSC. Draft, edit and amend contracts, service level agreements and memoranda of understanding in line with the OHSC policies and procedures. Conduct legal analysis and research with regards to legal matters pertaining to the OHSC. Manage litigation by and against the OHSC. Assist the Board Secretary with legal secretarial work.

Salary: An all-inclusive salary package of R 1 003 890 per annum.
Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Actuarial Sciences, Epidemiology, Monitoring and Evaluation or Health Sciences field. At least five (5) years’ experience in health care research, three (3) of which must have been at a junior management or equivalent level. A post-graduate qualification in the above-mentioned field would be an advantage. Analytical and interpretive skills. Good judgement, problem solving and conflict handling skills. Advanced computer skills and experience in using STATA, SAS or SPSS Statistical software.
Duties: Contribute to the development and maintenance of the OHSC strategic information management unit. Support and contribute to data collection, analysis and management of activities of the OHSC. DIRECTOR: GOVERNANCE, BOARD SECRETARIAT AND LEGAL SERVICES (REF #: OHSC 25/2024

Salary: An all-inclusive salary package of R 1, 216 824 per annum (basic salary consists of 70% of the total package, OHSC’s contribution to the GEPF (13% of basic salary) and a flexible portion). The flexible portion can be structured according to OHSC guidelines.
Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in law. An additional qualification related to Company Secretariat will be an advantage. Registration with the Chartered Secretaries of Southern Africa (CSSA) is recommended but is not a must. At least 8 years’ experience which must include a combination of experience in governance, Board Secretariat services and provision of legal support functions. Of the 8 years’ experience at least 5 years must have been on a middle management or senior management level. Experience in providing Board support within a regulatory environment or entity in the health sector will be an advantage. Knowledge and competence in business administration, compliance management, corporate governance and drafting of agreements would be preferred. A valid driver’s licence is required. Matric Certificate.
Duties: Manage and provide secretariat services, render administrative and related support activities to the OHSC Board and Board Committees. Ensure that the legal and reputational risk of the OHSC is mitigated and controlled. Provide a legal advisory and support function to the OHSC. Manage human resources, financial and procurement plans and processes within the unit.
