Role Purpose 
Provides administration and correspondence support to the Chairperson: Ethics and Members Interests. 
 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
 Performs specific tasks/ activities associated with the provision of Secretarial support
 Maintains and access records of discussions, instructions and correspondence 
 Accompany the Chairperson Ethics and Members Interest to various meetings and functions to deliver support in official duties as required by the Chairperson Ethics and Members Interest 
 Ensure that protocol is maintained as per protocol guidelines, pertaining to the Chairperson Ethics and Members Interest 
 Ensure that the Chief of Staff is always informed of his/her schedule, in order to ensure that the Chairperson Ethics and Members Interest can be punctual for meetings

 Facilitate development of SMMEs and Cooperatives in the district 
 Ensures the implementation of SMME and Cooperatives programmes and projects 
 Provide administrative work for the proper implementation of SMME and Cooperatives support 
 Ensures the creation of conducive environment for SMMEs and Cooperatives development. 
 Ensuring the previously disadvantaged to come into main stream economics. 
 Supporting small business enterprises and sourcing funding for entrepreneurs.

Role Purpose

 Coordinates the implementation of procedures, systems and controls related to receiving, updating and recording of transactional operational information and activities associated with the functionality. 
 Attending to approval of requisition orders and/or controlling claims and related departmental issues. 
 Collating information and/or conducting investigations to establish facts for inclusion into responses to internal/external communications (emails/letters etc.)

 Maintaining and Supporting ICT Infrastructure and Networks Administration and related Systems to ensure users are less affected by ICT Infrastructure and ICT Systems downtime 
 Performs specific hardware maintenance tasks to ensure that all infrastructure and network infrastructure, systems and software support is well maintained and fully functional
