SENIOR EXPENDITURE CLERK
TASK GRADE 8
Salary Scale: R 277 820, 85 – 307 172,07per annum
Essential requirement of the post:
National Diploma in Accounting /Equivalent
Two (2) years work experience
Key performance Areas:
Checking and processing of entries and approved adjustments and posting to specific ledger accounts.
Reconciling of the general and statutory accounts against statements and generating reports detailing the status of creditor accounts for analysis purposes, give corrective inputs, consolidate information and send to the immediate superior.
Checking that creditors are paid on the correct vote, verify that the amount due and banking details are corrected and invoices have not been paid previously.
Updating of creditor commitment invoices on the Promun system before making payments
Importing creditors from the Promun system to Financial Institutions (Banks) and do payment run
Printing of age analysis report to check creditors that are overdue and submit to the immediate superior for further processing.
