Lecturer: on (PL1) (Computer Practice) with Basic Salary between R 256 395 and R 410 565 p.a. excluding benefits

The successful candidate must meet the following minimum criteria (skills/competencies):
Minimum Requirements:
- Professional qualification in Education.
- An appropriate recognized bachelor's degree/national diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1/one-year relevant experience.
- SACE Registration.
- Digital literate and competent in Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook/Teams.
Recommendations:
- Strong communication and presentation skills for effectively conveying information to students.
- Understanding various teaching methodologies and being able to adapt to diverse learning styles is important.
- Familiarity with instructional technologies and tools to enhance the learning experience.
- Proficiency in designing fair and effective assessment methods to evaluate student’s understanding and skills.
- Utilization of both formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.
- A positive attitude and ability to skilfully plan and adapt to change
- The following soft skills are recommended: Typing skills, audio skills, problem solving skills, classroom management skills, ability to skilfully plan and adapt to change.
Key Result Areas:
- Classroom performance and application.
- Knowledge of learning programmes and broad curriculum.
- Learning activity: Planning, Preparation, presentation and administration.
- Learner assessment/achievement in terms of outcomes.
- Professional development in field of work/career and participation in professional activities.
- Communication and human relations.
