Requirements: Grade 12 Certificate coupled with NQF Level 7 Qualification as accredited by SAQA in the Finance Environment. A minimum of 10 years Financial Management Experience, of which 5 years thereof should be at Senior management role in the same Field. No Criminal record. Valid driving License, Code 8 minimum. Proof of registration/ active membership with relevant professional bodies i.e ACCA, SAICA or any in the Finance Environment
Knowledge: Knowledge of the FAMPPLA, Treasury Regulations; Internal Auditing Standards; The South African Auditing Standards.

Duties: Responsible for the overall financial management of the NWPL, including overseeing Compliance to SCM Prescripts. Provide direction, management, and leadership in the accounting, business planning, and budgeting, efforts of the NWPL by ensuring a healthy and sustainable financial position. Assist the Accounting to ensure Financial Compliance in the NWPL. Provide timely and relevant financial management reports to all stakeholders. Prepare and maintain regular financial planning reports, monthly forecasts. Ensure that the budgetary process meets legislative requirements. Present budget for approval. Monitor and advise role players on the status of the budget. Provide expenditure management through Management of cash flow and expenditure vs budget; payment of suppliers. Management of unauthorized, irregular, fruitless and wasteful expenditure. Ensure proper preparation for annual audit. Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, department budgets, maintenance of accounts and ledgers ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Report to the Speaker, Secretary, Audit Committee and Management on audit findings and recommendations so that they can determine the appropriate collective plan. Identify financial risks that the NWPL is exposed to and implement appropriate risks management strategies. Implement appropriate risk management strategies in finance department. Maintain best practice in respect of KING III and the FAMPPLA.

EXECUTIVE MANAGER – SUPPORT SERVICES

NB: This is a Five (05) Year Contract Position
Requirements: Grade 12 Certificate coupled with a minimum NQF level 7 Qualification as recognised by SAQA in the Administration Environment. Six (06) years Senior Management experience in the Corporate Services Environment. Proof of no criminal record to be attached. Valid Driving License.
Knowledge: Ability to manage and use allocated financial, information and other resources optimally. Applicable Prescripts in the Corporate Services.

Duties: Responsible to provide Strategic Support, Leadership and direction to the Human Resource, Facilities Management, Communications, Library and Registry, ICT and the Security Division of the NWPL. Plan, direct and coordinate strategic support services activities of the NWPL to maximise the strategic use of human resources and the existing facilities. Develop the Support Services branch’s strategic plans and ensure implementation to achieve the NWPL objectives. Ensure compliance with relevant corporate services legislation and policies. Ensure that the branch’s strategic plans, quarterly and annual reports are submitted to the relevant stakeholders timeously. Oversee efficient resource allocation (finance, human resources, information systems, etc). Lead benchmark initiatives on corporate services best practices. Enhance the corporate image of the NWPL. Ensure the development, implementation and management of a registry system for the NWPL. Ensure the development, implementation and management of a records management system for the NWPL. Ensure the development and implementation of Information and Communication Technology strategies and solutions aligned to the NWPLs overall strategy. Oversee Compliance to the National Key Point Prescripts. Co-ordinate and execute the overall management and maintenance of the NWPL building and surroundings. Perform any other Function as may be directed by the Supervisor
