POST: CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
REFERENCE: NO. 04/2021.
TYPE OF POSITION: FIXED TERM CONTRACT (5 YEARS)
SALARY: R1 251 183 (ALL INCLUSIVE)
REMUNERATION PACKAGE.
LOCATION: MAHIKENG
Required Qualifications: • Metric (Grade 12) plus a post graduate qualification (e.g. B Corn Honours) in Accounting/Finance or higher. • CA (SA), CIMA or similar will be an added advantage.
Knowledge and Experience: -At least 5-7 years' financial management experience. • 2 years post articles experience, • Knowledge of the PFMA and National Treasury Regulations.
Key Competencies: • Financial Policies and Procedures • Financial Control • Managerial planning and budgeting • Analytical thinking and problem solving • Financial and performance reporting • Proactive communicator, collaborative and results-oriented
Duties: • As a custodian of the PFMA and accompanying regulations, responsible to oversee and execute the financial strategy of the entity. • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions.

• Development and implementation of the NWHC financial accounting, management of financial reporting and controls, procurement policies and administration of all assets. • Develop and approve multi-year budgets aligned to the NWHC strategic plan. • Develop financial business plans and forecasts to set funding strategies and goals. • Participate in corporate policy development as a member of senior management team. • Preparing and presenting the NWHC financial statements and liaise with both the internal and external auditors. Ensuring that NWHC maintains a clean audit outcome and prevent unauthorized, irregular and fruitless expenditure.
