DIRECTOR: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 7) as recognised by SAQA • Five (5) years' experience at Middle/Senior Management Level in Supply Chain Management • Pre-entry Certificate for the Senior Management Services (SMS) as endorsed by the National School of Government • Computer literacy • A valid driver's license • Knowledge and Skills: s, In-depth knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and Prescripts governing Public Service such as Constitution of Republic of South Africa 1996, Public Service Act 1994, Public Service Regulations 2016, PFMA 1999, other relevant Legislations arid Prescripts.

Duties: • Monitor implementation of Supply Chain, Management Framework and Contract Management • Develop and monitor approved, funded procurement plan aligned to Annual Performance Plan • Implement, execute, monitor and evaluate Supply Chain Business risk processes aligned to institutional processes including the development of Business Unit risk profiles, provision of risk management reports, monitoring and maintaining of effective control environment within area of responsibility • Administer the Performance Management and Development System • Consolidation of demand and procurement plan from various district and programmes • Ensure effective functioning of the Departmental Bid Specifications Committees, Evaluation Committee and Adjudication Committees •.Management of Expenditure during the financial year to ensure Value for Money • Identification of Operational risks and risk profiles • Review of policies and Standard Operating Procedure in Supply Chain Management.

Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences/Public Administration/Management (NQF Level 7) as recognized by SAQA or a postgraduate qualification in Health Management • Five (5) years' experience in Senior Management Service Level (SMS) in the management of Health Services Sector • Pre-entry Certificate for the Senior Management Service (SMS) as endorsed by the National School of Government • Computer literacy • A valid driver's license.

Duties: • Ensure optimal provision of integrated and appropriate health services and programmes for the entire province • Provide strategic leadership and human resource management and development • Develop and maintain the budget of the Chief Directorate to meet the health and service needs of the clinical support in accordance with all the prescripts • Represent the Chief Directorate and the Department at relevant fora • Manage and facilitate provision of clinical support services in the province • Ascertain that, available electronic and manual systems are up scaled to improve availability of medicines at all levels • Facilitate accreditation of EMS college in line with Council for Higher Education (CHE) Regulations • Ensure that RAF, operations are rendered in line with EMS regulations of 2017 • Provide sound financial, SCM, HRM&D, Risk Management within Chief Directorate • Introduce systems towards improved audit outcomes.

Duties: • Mobilize decision makers 'and communities on HIV and AIDS, STIs and TB programmes and policies • Advocate for policy reviews and implementation • Plan and manage social mobilization interventions to raise awareness on Public health issues • Plan targeted mobilization and Behaviour Change Communication for vulnerable groups and difficult to reach population • Produce information, education and communication (IEC) material to support awareness on HIV and AIDS, STIs and TB issues • Communicate HIV and AIDS, STI and TB policies and programmes to the general public • Participate in National, Provincial and District communication to enhance Provincial Communication strategies • Compile information for media briefs, statements for Provincial Leadership • Liaise with local media and radio to promote awareness on communicable and non-communicable diseases • Produce communication and social mobilization plans for the programme • Strengthen the integration of HAST services into the PHC package services • Ensure effective integration of HA,IT programme at provincial, district, sub district and facility level.

Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences/Public Administration/Management (NQF Level 7) as recognized by SAQA • A Post-Graduate diploma in Public Health, Hospital Services Management or Health Services Management will be an added advantage • Five (5) years' experience at Middle/Senior Management Level in the Health Sector • Pre-entry Certificate for the Senior Management Services (SMS) as endorsed by the National School of Government • Computer literacy • A valid driver's license • Sound understanding of hospital services and broader health service delivery issues, District Health System, Human Resource, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Public Health Policy and related issues.

Duties: • Responsible for overall management of the Hospital *Provide strategic leadership • Manage the provision of quality and integrated health services, Clinical and corporate governance • Ensure proper management in the following areas: • Nursing and Clinical Management, Financial Management (including Revenue), Supply Chain Management, Internal Control &Risk Management, Human Resource Management, Communication as well as Quality Assurance • Manage related conditional grants and funding for special health projects • Ensure accreditation and licensing of various units wherever practicable • Ensure quality patient care • Effectively manage hospital performance indicators as well as employee performance • Liaise with the District Management Team for a proper referral system • Develop essential protocol and business plan for the hospital.
