It is the responsibility of the applicant to make sure that foreign qualifications are evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority. REQUIREMENTS: An undergraduate qualification (NQF level 7) and a post graduate qualification (NQF level 8) in the Medical Field as recognized by SAQA. Minimum 8 years at a senior management of which at least 3 years must be with any organ of State as defined in the Constitution. Applicants must have successfully completed the Senior Management Pre-entry Programme as endorsed by the National School of Government.

Duties: • Reporting to the MEC of Health; the Incumbent will provide strategic and operational support to the Office of the Executive Authority, Serve as the Accounting Officer of the Department as prescribed in the Public Finance Management Act and Serve as the Head of Department as prescribed in the Public Service Act. Manage and Oversee Hospital and Clinical Support Services, District Health Services, Infrastructure Development Management Service and the provision of e Quality Assurance Services.
