ASSISTANT MANAGER MUNICIPAL HEALTH SERVICES FOR  MAHIKENG X1, DITSOBOTLA X1, TSWAING X1, RATLOU X1 AND RAMOTSHERE-MOILOA X1. 
MONTHLY SALARY: T14 (R34 036.13 XV R 44 181.46) 
 
REQUIREMENTS: National Diploma in Public / Environmental Health, B.Tech.: Environmental Health will be an added advantage, Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) category Independent Practice, Valid Driver’s License, Six years serving experience in the field of Environmental Health Services of which minimum two (2) years in supervisory level. Financial Management skills. Good leadership attributes with problem solving skills. Innovative. Stakeholder relations skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of legislation governing the provision of Municipal Health Services within the Local Government environment. 
 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Manage and ensure equitable provision of Municipal Health Services (all nine KPA’s) within your area of jurisdiction through planning and execution. Manage sequences and activities associated with Water quality monitoring, Health Surveillance of Premises, Environmental Pollution Control, Surveillance and Prevention of Communicable diseases, Food Control, Disposal of the Dead, Vector Control Monitoring, Chemical Safety & Waste Management and General Hygiene Monitoring. Develop and manage MHS stakeholder data base in your area of jurisdiction and update the data base. Ensure Community participation on MHS matters through forums and awareness campaigns. Manage, control and coach staff under your supervision and maintain staff discipline and institute disciplinary action were misconduct is done.

ASSISTANT MANAGER: INTERGRATED POLLUTION CONTROL 
MONTHLY SALARY: T14 (R34 036.13 XV R 44 181.46) 
 
REQUIREMENTS: National Diploma in Public / Environmental Health, B.Tech. : Environmental Health will be an added advantage, Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) category Independent Practice, Valid Driver’s License, Six years serving experience in the field of Environmental Health Services of which minimum of two (2) years in supervisory level. Good leadership attributes with problem solving skills. Innovative. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of legislation governing the provision of Municipal Health Services within the Local Government environment. 
 
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Manage and supervising sequences and activities associated with Environmental Pollution Control within the District. Manage Atmospheric Emission Licensing (AEL) activities and implementation of projects in the Air Quality Management Plan (AQMP) and Integrated Waste Management Plan (IWMP) of the District. Develop, maintain and update data base of pollutants and interact with pollution control stakeholders through forums and public participation. Ensure enforcement of pollution control legislation. 
 
 
 
 
TECHNICIAN: ROADS 
MONTHLY SALARY: T12 (R26 851.13 XV R34 853.56) 
 
REQUIREMENTS: National Diploma in Civil Engineering. Knowledge of Legislation. Knowledge of language mostly spoken in the area. Valid driver’s license. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Project Management Skills. Three years experience in both Road Construction and Maintenance & Road Network Management. 
 
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Road Infrastructure Asset Management functions. Responsible for Staff Management Functions, Project Management Functions, Procurement Functions, Staff development to enhance capacity and performance, Provide administration support, Transport planning to comply with applicable legislation, Construction & maintenance management, knowledge of construction material and testing & analysing, Surveying, Contract management, Reporting Functions and Communications Functions.
