GENERAL WORKER (FIVE POSITIONS)
(WASTEWATER CONVEYANCE)
POSITION CODE: 8437
TASK Grade 2 (R122 868 – R170 820 per annum)
(Basic salary only, excluding benefits)
 
 
Qualifications and experience required: 
Appropriate level of primary education.
 
Key attributes and competencies: 
  • Ability to read and write
  • The successful candidate will be required to be physically fit and able-bodied and will be required to undergo a medical examination at the NMBM Wellness Centre

Job purpose: 
Performing general activities associated with clearing conservancy tanks, collection and replacement of sanitary pails, excavation and backfilling during track inspection and maintenance works, applying laid-down instructions and observing specific procedures during the applications
 
As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening, medical examination, security vetting and psychometric assessment.
