DUTIES : Fiscal Policy Research: Contribute in defining and managing the research agenda and work programme of the unit, in line with the requirements and the relevance to the broader international macroeconomic environment, Research and propose institutional frameworks to govern overall fiscal aggregates, Provide research on the long-run fiscal impacts of policy-decisions, particularly as it relates to aggregate savings, debt and investment, and the sustainability of social policies. REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12 is required coupled with a minimum National Diploma (equivalent to NQF level 6) or Bachelor’s Degree (equivalent to NQF level 7) in Economic Sciences or Finance or Development Studies or Social Sciences or Public Administration. A minimum of 3 years’ experience obtained in policy development; policy analysis processes as well as public finance processes, e.g., MTEF and PFMA.
