DRIVER

LOCATION : SUNNINGHILL
KEY DELIVERABLES
The responsibility of the Driver is responsible for efficient and effective driver services including delivery of goods for NHBRC at the Sunninghill Office.
The Individual will primarily be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
• Receive and verify delivery requests from NHBRC staff
• Collect parcels and mail as requested and ensure accurate and timeous delivery
• Update delivery report
• Transport Executives and Manager to external meetings and venues as required
• Log all transport requests on monthly transport report
• Confirm pick up and drop off details with requester
• Identify and assist in the purchase of new vehicles
• Collect recovered stolen company vehicles
• Book vehicles for service maintenance
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean and roadworthy
• Collect mail as required
• Register all incoming mail in the mail book
• Post mail to addressee and record and stamp all outgoing mail
• Ensure bank guarantees are signed and send proof of signed bank guarantee relevant department.
• Verify banking deposits and check register
• Ensure all tracking numbers are accounted for to ensure no loss in goods
• Prioritise all docex packages according to department
• Collection of monthly and filing of monthly expense slips
• Request for bank authorization on behalf of finance
• Process all documentation according to company policies and procedures as well as document control principals, within specified set time frames to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate the filing, storage and security of documents.
• Responsible for Car registration, licensing and traffic fines
• Maintain all necessary records
• Renewal applications on behalf of the company and ensure all ownership documents are in order
• Receive and process Banking requests
• Collect and complete banking deposit book
• Check register and sign receipt of banking slip
• Make copies and file banking slips
• Return completed deposit book to office
• Develop and maintain productive relations with internal and external customers.
• Build, manage and maintain healthy diverse workable internal relations and implement remedial actions where required.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers and stakeholders on relevant matters
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Grade 12
• Minimum (3- 5) years driving experience
• Valid driver’s license and Professional Driving Permit (PDP)

LOCATION : HEAD OFFICE, SUNNINGHILL.
KEY DELIVERABLES:
The role of the Buyer SCM is to manage and controls the daily operations of the purchasing and procurement process on the ERP system and also to ensure the efficient and compliant execution of required services at business unit level and all other activities involving SCM are conducted duties in accordance with National Treasury standards, regulations and relevant prescripts. Provides advice in accordance with the organisation’s supply chain management policies, procedures and systems. Monitors and reports as appropriate to assist in ensuring the best value outcomes for the organisation in the procurement of goods and services.
The Individual will primarily be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
• Receive and assess RFQ request to determine the nature of request.
• Prepare and edit specifications/ TOR/ scope of work and compilation RFQ documents.
• Submit RFQ to service providers.
• Ensure RFQ request are responded to within stipulated time frames.
• Evaluate suppliers based on SCM policies.
• Prepare SCM approval documentation.
• Provide administrative support to the Supply Chain Management unit.
• Provide support and assistance to business sections/units to complete proper specifications.
• Advertise and monitor the tender process to ensure that all Treasury Regulations and the Supply Chain policy and other government prescripts are followed.
• Administrate briefing sessions.
• Coordinate site visits.
• Manage receiving and opening of quotes.
• Run CSD reports to confirm bidder information.
• Develop an internal SCM checklist in accordance to Bid specification/terms of reference and conduct compliance check.

• Follow up on CSD non-compliance and advise suppliers to rectify accordingly.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of a National Diploma (NQF 6) in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Procurement, Logistics or Public Management.
• Minimum three (3) years administration experience within a Supply Chain Management environment.
• Minimum three (3) years buying process administration experience.

KEY DELIVERABLES
The responsibility of the General Assistant: Facilities Maintenance is responsible to assist with all maintenance related duties within the Properties and Facilities Management Section providing services to the NHBRC which includes but not limited to repairs, maintenance, renovations, plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, according to prescribed standards, regulations, and procedures at the NHBRC Sunninghill Office.
The Individual will primarily be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
• As directed, ensure the operation and maintenance of mechanical systems such as plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, painting and electrical.
• Reconfigures, installs, positions, and remounts modular offices and space to accommodate user needs and maximize office space using various hand power and speciality tools.
• Ensure proper records and the maintenance of inventory, equipment, and tools.
• Ensure compliance with systems for the regular evaluation and maintenance of all electrical, air-conditioning, plumbing, lift, generator, and other equipment in order to ensure maximum availability/uptime.
• Maintain all inventory and equipment, and ensure proper storage.
• Assist with furniture removals as assigned.
• Assist in designing specifications for Facilities projects.
• Assist in conducting briefing session on the Project Scope of work.
• Co-ordinate the implementation and the completion of repairs and maintenance.
• Monitor and oversee the work of contractors/suppliers.
• Assist in managing all preventative, remedial and upgrade works that required for the upkeep and improvement of office buildings & their components.
• Assist in conducting building inspections and identify the maintenance improvements.
• Assist the Facilities Manager in all aspects of projects.
• Coordinates and perform maintenance work on other Offices (Hatfield office Tshwane and Eric Molobi office Soshanguve)
• Adhere to health and safety regulations in the process of conducting duties in the area of responsibility
• Perform safety checks as when required to ensure a safe and clean environment in the area of responsibility
• Act as SHE representative in line with NHBRC SHE regulations as required and if appointed in the role
• Act as First Aider in case of employee injuries if appointed as a First Aider.

• Provide inputs on tender documentation for contractors/suppliers.
• Signs off job cards and confirm the work done by contractors
• Promptly and attentively respond to customer requests within established parameters and time frames.
• Perform work in the least disruptive manner possible to customers.
• Assess or check with customer to ensure solution meets request.
• Review customer requests and seek clarification as needed.
• Effectively communicate with staff and visitors.
• Working together with cleaning, gardening, security, and waste management Staff to ensure that the building is clean and meets the hygiene standards.
• Assist with logics related functions (mails to the Post Office and to transport Executive Manager).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Grade 12.
• Minimum N4 Certificate (NQF 5) in a Vocational discipline.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience using facilities and maintenance skills in commercial or industrial environment.
• Must be able to perform but not limited to the following skills: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, tiling and painting.
• A Trade Test Certificate in Plumbing, Electrical and Mechanical will be an added advantage.
