National Development Agency is a Schedule 3A National Public Entity with a mandate for poverty eradication and is accountable to Parliament through the Minister of Social Development.
The National Development Agency (NDA) invites applications from suitable qualified professionals to fill positions as Independent Loss Control Committee member.
AN INDEPENDENT LOSS CONTROL COMMITTEE (FOUR MEMBERS)

Description: The NDA seeks to appoint independent & suitably qualified persons with knowledge of government environment and accountability structures, governance processes within the Institution, PFMA and Treasury Regulations, NDA’s internal policies, risk management, internal controls, legal processes and labour relations processes to serve on the Loss Control Committee.
Requirements: A degree in Legal/Finance/Risk Management/Human Resources or relevant degree.
Proven experience in the following fields: Financial Management, Governance, Legal, Human Resources, Risk Management and Governance. The applicant must not be in any employment of the state or public entity. Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act and its Regulations.
Duties: The Independent Loss Control Committee will be charged with the task of examining and evaluating all losses, cases of irregular, fruitless and wasteful expenditure submitted to it with the object of determining liability and responsibility for all losses incurred by the Entity.

Term of Office and Remuneration: This appointment is for a period of three (3) years, but may be subject to renewals at the discretion of the NDA Accounting Authority. The appointment will be supported by terms of reference and contract. Remuneration will be paid in accordance with the Adjustment of the Remuneration Levels: Service Benefit Packages for Office Bearers of Certain Statutory and Other Institutions issued by National Treasury from time to time.
