LEGAL ADVISOR: PROSECUTIONS
Salary: R 376 596.00 per annum (Salary level 9)

Purpose of the job: To conduct the National Consumer Commission prosecution on behalf of the National Consumer Commission
 
 
Key responsibilities: • Provide assistance in prosecution of all contravention of the Consumer Protection Act in the National Consumer Tribunal • Assess and prepare cases for the National Consumer Tribunal • Represent the National Consumer Commission at the Tribunal and other court hearings • Provide assistance in the development and maintenance of a database of tribunal decisions/orders • Stakeholder management • Provide assistance in the review of protocols and standards
 
Minimum Qualifications: National Diploma/B.Degree in Law or equivalent qualification and EB driver's licence • Admission as an Attorney/Advocate
Minimum Experience: 3 years Legal Administrative experience in private and public sector, Training: Computer Literacy: MS Office Package Literacy (Ms Office Package), project management and knowledge of regulatory framework.
