POST: SENIOR MANAGER: HUMAN CAPITAL 
CENTRE: PRETORIA 
The National Agricultural Marketing Council (NAMC) seeks to appoint a Senior Manager: Human Capital who will provide strategic direction to the Human Capital Division. The incumbent reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. 
 
 
Requirements:
An honours degree in Human Resource Management/ Industrial Psychology/ Public Management or equivalent (NQF level 8) qualification related to Human Capital. 5-10 years management experience applicable to human resources. Extensive knowledge of HR legislation and all other legislation governing the Public Service. 
 
Key Performance Areas: 
Upon assuming the Senior Manager’s role, the key performance areas are likely to include:
 Ensure and manage the development of the Human Resources Strategy and align with the strategic objectives. 
 Ensure the alignment of Employment Equity and Skills Development Plans to the Human Resources Strategy. 
 Develop and oversee effective implementation of talent management, remuneration, organisational development and employee relations & wellness strategies. 
 Identify, monitor HR risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
 Ensure the development of an integrated performance management approach, in support of achieving the strategic objectives and priorities.
 Develop or review annual workforce plan and communicate it to management. 
 Identify and interpret related legislation and its impact on the HR function and ensure compliance to policies, procedures and practices. 
 Advice line management on dealing with issues and requirements as specified in labour legislation and guidelines.
