DUTIES : Develop, review and update plans for Transport infrastructure development and preservation. Develop and maintain efficient infrastructure information, assessment and decision support systems that can inform strategic and project level priorities and decision making in accordance with National guidelines such as the DORA requirements for the PRMG. Compile the annual Operational Plan, -budget and related documents for Road Infrastructure, perform monthly evaluation and reporting and recommend corrective measures where applicable. Ensure that the roads and road reserves are well protected in compliance with the provincial legislative framework (Ordinance 22 of 1957 as amended and Act 21 of 1940 - Roads and Ribbon Development Act).
