RE-POST: STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES MANAGER X 1 PERMANENT
SALARY NOTCH: R491 403 – R578 841 per annum

Requirements: An appropriate Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Psychology, BA or Social Work (Major in Psychology or relevant qualification recognised by SAQA. Three (3) years’ experience - working with students. Understanding and knowledge of Work Integrated Learning (WIL). Knowledge of Legislative Framework governing TVET Colleges. Knowledge of Student Support Services Framework and knowledge of NSFAS Policy and SETA funders. Planning and organizing skills. Analytical and innovation skills. Computer literacy (MS word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and internet). Verbal and Written communication skills. Ability to communicate well with the people. Valid driver’s license.
Duties: Plan and provide Career Guidance services. Manage the bursary scheme. Monitor online and paper-based bursary application process. Plan and manage placement test of new students. Identify learning gaps for students. Facilitate work and liaise with Industries and stakeholders for job placement. Conduct Entrepreneurship training. Conduct graduate tracking and alumni. Facilitate academic support programme, Health and Wellness activities. Facilitate student Sport Arts and Cultural events. Provide disability support to affected students. Engage with Students Representative Council and provide necessary support.
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: EXPENDITURE MANAGEMENT AND FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING X 1

SALARY NOTCH: R393 711 – R475 596 per annum

Requirements: An appropriate National Diploma or Bachelors’ Degree with Financial Management or Accounting as major subject. A postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage. Three years (3) relevant experience and supervisory experience. Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations and other relevant prescripts. Knowledge of financial systems as well as the application of GRAP Standards. Computer Literate. Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation, interpersonal as well as problem solving skills.
Duties: Verify and authorises payments to third parties, Service providers, salaries, claims and stipends. Review the monthly creditors and bank reconciliations. Ensure that expenditure is in line with budget and item provisioning. Assist in the compilation of interim and annual financial statements. Ensure the safeguarding of all source documents. Ensure effective employee supervision for efficient financial accounting services. Implement and monitor internal controls and processes to ensure efficient and effective functioning. Liaise with external and internal auditors and provide access to documentation.
LIFE SKILLS AND COMPUTER LITERACY X 1 PERMANENT

Requirements: An appropriate National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree backed by professional teaching qualification (REQV 13). One (1) year’s actual experience in NCV subjects. Be able to teach Life skills and ICT (Computers) NCV Level 2-4. Ability to analyse, interpret policies and develop guideline to support students at the campus. Good communication and writing skills. Computer literacy skill is recommended. Ability to work in a team and under pressure. Registered with SACE.
Duties: To engage in class teaching, to plan, co-ordinate, control, administer, evaluate, and report on students ’academic progress. To enhance learning as an active process and be prepared to use a variety of strategies to meet the subject and learning outcomes of the curriculum. To create and maintain classroom environment that stimulates positive learning and actively engage students in the learning process. To conduct blended and online teaching.
INFORMATION PROCESSING AND OFFICE PRACTICE LECTURER X 1 PERMANENT

Requirements: An appropriate recognized National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree with Information Processing and Office Practice as a major subject. Teaching experience in Information Processing and Office Practice will be an added advantage.
Duties: Facilitation and assessment of Information Processing and Office Practice. To enhance learning as an active process and be prepared to use a variety of strategies to meet the subject and learning outcomes of the curriculum. To create and maintain classroom environment that stimulates positive learning and actively engage students in the learning process. Management of students’ records as well as all assets allocated to the classroom. Analyse and report on student performance to management. Liaise with students, parents, and other stakeholders. Support student development.
SECRETARY X 2 PERMANENT
SALARY NOTCH: R181 599 – R213 912 per annum

Requirements: An appropriate National Diploma or bachelor’s Degree in Office Administration/ Management Assistant/Secretarial or relevant qualification. Knowledge of office administration and administration principles, Batho Pele principles, and advanced typing skills, good telephone etiquette, customer relations, analytical skills, communication (both verbal and written) skills. Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, and Internet), interpersonal and report writing skills.
Duties: Keeping the Manager’s diary up-to-date and scheduling events for the office. General administrative duties and organizing the office, i.e., receiving client and visitors. Making arrangement for business meetings and venues. Managing correspondences. Establishing and maintaining a filing system. Ensure that documents adhere to the set norm and standards. Ensure that all information needed for internal control is obtained. The implementation of proper office management, control, and administrative systems.
