Requirements
  • Grade 12
  • S4 in Civil Engineering/ Diploma in Civil Engineering/BSC in Civil Engineering/B Tech in Civil Engineering
  • Driver’s License
 
Scope of development
  • Road Inventory Data Collection
  • Road Condition Assessments
  • Traffic data collection
  • Assessment of road structures
  • Assessment of road drainage elements
  • Analysis of Visual Condition Data
  • Geographic Information System
  • Management of Roads Asset Management Systems (RAMS)
 
Conditions of contract
  • 1-year contract with a 3-month probation period with a possibility of renewal for up end of June 2024
  • Stipend will vary (R4500-R5500) according to qualification
  • 5 interns (1 from each local municipality)
