INVITATION TO ALL EXPERIENCED AND SKILLED EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT (ECD) PRACTITIONERS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 18 AND 35 YEARS TO FURTHER THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN:
HIGHER CERTIFICATE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT LEVEL 5
Access and admission requirements for entry into the programme:
CV - must reflect clearly ECD environment work experience including duration and they must be updated CVs.
X3 ID - copy must be certified within last 3 months.
Proof of Residential address
Certificates - must be certified within last 3 months.
Last Schooling - Grade 12 (NQF L4).
Level 4 National Certificate in ECD - entry requirement.
Workplace testimonial – letters of employment – must be authentic on letterhead, stamped by the employer and preferably with some other supporting document.
Job description highlighting the duties the person is responsible for-authentic.
Workplace evidence to confirm that the candidates is indeed employed at the ECD site/ Primary School (to be present to the internal Assessor).

Note: Admission for the HIGHER CERTIFICATE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT LEVEL 5 is subject to the successful completion of Diagnostic assessments in numeracy and literacy. ECD experience will also be taken into account.
COURSE DURATION
12 months Full-time(1 week in-service training + 1 week facilitation)

PROCESS:
Visit Mnambithi TVET College, Occupational Programmes Unit – 5 Walton Street, Ladysmith, 3370 and complete application form.
