Generate monthly reports on accredited programmes. Respond to requests from internal and external auditors. Compile relevant statistics for inclusion in appropriate reports when required. Maintain high standards compliance in terms of SETA administration for all regional offices.
Provide feedback on application status of all academy projects (learnerships, apprenticeships, skills programmes) are registered and enrolled with the relevant SETAs. Coordinate SETA site visits. Good understanding of Quality Management System (QMS).

PURPOSE
The primary purpose of this position is to curate, administer and manage all music, dance, drama and related performing arts programming in MACSF.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Determining the nature and content of a broad array of performing arts, special-event, and theatre programming for MACSF various performance venues.
  • Drafting of strategic plan, standard operating procedures and operational plans for all performing arts units.
  • Developing and managing the budget for performing arts programming, negotiating and managing contracts with artists and their agents as well as support personnel, including technical and lighting support.
  • Maintain an annual maintenance schedule, initiating and supervising maintenance and upgrades of all performance venues, managing production for all events, which includes partnering with stakeholders within the performing arts industry.
  • Partnering with the advancement and marketing teams to strategize and plan for sponsorship, advertising, promotion of programming and providing copy for internal publications including MACSF website.
  • Must have knowledge of the SCM regulatory framework, PFMA and relevant National Treasury prescripts, LRA, corporate governance and regulations.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for the office of the Chief Executive Officer.
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • A relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Dramatic Art, (BA Honours). Master's Degree (MA) will be an added advantage.
  • Five (5) year's experience in the field of performing arts at management level.
  • Valid Driver's License is essential.

PURPOSE
The Deputy Manager: Legal Services shall provide legal services and support including Labour relations matters, vetting of policies, charters and related legal documents. Ensure that the administrative and contractual decisions of MACSF are compliant with governing legislation and conduct awareness sessions on the impact of any new legislative requirements and related issues.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Good understanding of legislations applicable to Public Service, policy formulation, contract drafting and management.
  • Manage the resolution of legal disputes which includes representing MACSF at arbitrations, in a court of law and liaising with appointed legal professions.
  • To provide the Directors of the Board with guidance to their duties, responsibilities, powers, good governance and changes in the legislation.
  • To ensure that minutes of the Board meetings of any other committee are properly recorded.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for the office of the Executive Management meetings.
  • Maintain up-to-date logs of papers discussed at committees and decisions made.
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • A relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Law, (LLB/LLM).
  • 3-5 years’ experience in interpreting and advising on relevant legislations.
  • Membership of the Law Society of South Africa (ISSA) or relevant bodies will be added advantage.
