ORGANISED LABOUR CO-ORDINATOR X1 (REF: OLC/02/2020)
Salary: Negotiable  

 
Job Purpose
To provide central coordination of Organised Labour members arrangements relating to MHSC and its activities. To plan and arrange Organised Labour caucus meetings. Follow-up on all matters that need Labour input and finalisation. The position will report to the Stakeholder Manager
 
Minimum Requirements
  • Matric
  • 3-5 years in dealing with complex employee relations and employment law matters
  • Sound Knowledge and experience of Trade Unions/Organised Labour
  • Computer Literate
  • Knowledge of Litigation appropriate to Industrial Relations

Job Functions
  • Effectively arrange Travel, Accommodation, conferences and meetings
  • Co- Ordinate Organised Labour Activities
  • To provide advice to business with the aim of mitigating litigation risk across all operations;
  • To create and continually update framework and processes and ensure that they are aligned with legislation;
  • To provide training and development regarding labour law processes and internal policies to line management and Human Resources practitioners;
  • To monitor effective labour relations within the business;
  • To effectively assist the organisation in restructuring exercises;
  • To develop and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships in order to achieve strategic objectives; and to continually keep abreast of changing legislation and case law and its impact on the business.
