DUTIES
- Assisting the Millwright with daily tasks assigned by the supervisor: - By doing any work with hand tools on water and sewerage excavation sites e.g.  hands, picks, shovel, broom and various manual labour equipment tools. - Being responsible for loading and off-loading of material and equipment of the section with protected hand and safety tools. - Clean in and around the working area of responsibility with broom and various manual labour equipment tools to ensure a clean environment. - Do any labour related work when requested by either the supervisor or the superintendent of the section. - By executing all legal instructions form the supervisor to ensure productivity and sooth running of the Water, purification and Sewerage section. - Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time.
 
SALARY R 165 708. 00 p.a – R 184 404. 00 p.a (Level 12 of a Grade 04 Local Authority)
Total package inclusive of all benefits: R 298 148. 64 p.a.

DUTIES
- Assist with formulation of strategies for water conservation and water demand management. - Identifying the requirements for infrastructural replacement, refurbishment and specialized interventions to reduce water losses - Projects management from inception to closure associated with Water Demand Management. - Maintenance and refurbishment of Water Infrastructure associated with water demand management. - Conduct total water balance for the municipality and monthly reporting. - Conduct zonal water balance and monthly reporting. - Investigate water losses and non-revenue water and reporting. - Operations and maintenance of water infrastructure (WDM). - Investigation of water losses and monthly reporting. - Investigations of customers water consumption patterns and reporting (Revenue & Water Losses). - Daily Operational Monitoring of water infrastructure and report writing (WDM). - Addressing deviations on operational infrastructure. - Zonal water balance, water losses investigations and reporting. - Monthly report writing and reporting. - No Drop regulatory functions administration and reporting. - Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management from time to time.
