DUTIES
Responsible for cleaning of offices, bathrooms, stockroom, and the kitchen and ensure a clean & healthy working environment for employees and the public. -Serve tea and coffee to the visitors of the department. -Preparation of venue for meeting by cleaning, putting out water decanters and glasses, and refreshments. -Assist with general office administration duties, when working schedule is complete. -Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12/National Senior Certificate or equivalent. - NQF 2 Certificate in Environmental Management. - Basic Financial knowledge. – Valid driver’s license Code 08 (B) PrDP. will be an advantage - Computer Literacy (MS Office Suite, specific competence in Excell). - Communication and interpersonal skills. - Experience in weighbridge operation or a related field. - Proficiency in accurately weighing and recording incoming and outgoing goods. - Ability to operate and maintain weighbridge equipment. - Effective communication skills for interacting with drivers, site personnel, and clients. - Knowledge of weight regulations and industry standards. Knowledge of reporting on GWIS (Gauteng Waste Information System)- Attention to detail for precise record-keeping and data entry. - Adherence to safety and compliance protocols in weighbridge operations. - Conflict management and negotiation skills. Ability to interpret, enforce, communicate and implement, policies, procedures, and relevant legislative prescripts. - Three (03) to Five (5) years relevant experience in weighbridge operations and/or access controlling within landfill sites and transfer stations.
 
DUTIES
-Daily operation of the Weighbridge and Weighing of Vehicles entering the site: - Operating the weighbridge to accurately determine the weight of vehicles, both loaded and unloaded, of all incoming and outgoing vehicles. - Maintaining detailed records of all weighing transactions, including vehicle details, weights, and timestamps. Capturing data on the weighbridge software or database. Generating and issuing weight tickets, receipts, or other relevant documentation, including weighbridge tickets, waste transfer notes and any other required documentation for each transaction as proof of delivery. - Ensuring all weighing processes adhere to relevant regulations and company standards: - Verifying vehicle documentation and compliance with site rules. - Monitoring for unauthorized access or potential hazards. - Ensuring the weighbridge area is clean and organized. - Adhering to safety procedures and using appropriate personal protective equipment. - Equipment Maintenance: - Performing routine inspections and minor maintenance on the weighbridge equipment. - Including cleaning around load cells and reporting any defects to the foreman. - Report any defects or malfunctions of the weighbridge equipment to supervisor immediately. - Always ensures that weighbridge and equipment functions optimally. Customer Service: - Interacting with drivers, providing information, and addressing queries. - Escalating queries/questions/complaints which the incumbent is unable to address to the supervisor to maintain customer services. - Reporting and Communication: - Preparing daily, weekly, or monthly reports on weighing activities. - Reporting any malfunctions or irregularities in the weighing system to the relevant personnel. - Maintaining records: Keeping accurate and up to date records of all weighbridge transactions, vehicles, movements and waste data. - Spreadsheet update: Regularly updating spreadsheets and databases with accurate information. - Reporting: Compiling daily, weekly and monthly reports on waste, tonnages, types and other relevant metrics for management and regulatory bodies such as GWIS. - Processing payments: Processing payments for waste disposal services from non-account customers. -Perform any other related ad hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by Supervisor and Foreman from time to time.

-Grade 10 - Code 10 (C1) driver’s license with PDP. – Certificate in operating a TLB Machine - Excellent communication and supervisory skills. – Excellent Skilful handling and operating of TLB Machine. - Excellent knowledge of various hand tools and electrical equipment. - A hard working and self-disciplined person. – 02 to 03 years of relevant experience working in an electrical environment, within a Local Government Authority, operating a TLB machine.
 
DUTIES
- Operating vehicle daily productively and ensuring that safety and traffic rules are followed. - Ensures and protects the vehicle and the work area with road signs for the safety of road users during the excavation process. - Operates the TLB for digging of trenches and general road excavations to ensure effective construction and maintenance of electrical related matters. Collaborate with supervisors: receive and execute work orders to maximize productivity and support service delivery to ratepayers. - Responsible for maintenance including cleanliness, lubricating of TLB Machine. - Perform any other related ad hoc tasks as instructed by the Supervisor from time to time

PUMP OPERATOR - PURIFICATION MN4021/25
Location: Meyerton, ZA
 
REQUIREMENTS
-Grade 10. - Grade 12 added advantage. - Driver’s License added advantage. - Pump Operator Certificate will be an added advantage. - Knowledge of how to use various hand tools and other manual labour equipment. - Candidates must be able to read and interpret gauge and valve readings. - A hard working, physically abled and self-disciplined person. – 1 to 2 years’ relevant experience in local government Sewer and Purification, Wastewater Treatment Works and or pump stations.
 
DUTIES
-Assist with the operation and functioning of the pump station by: Interpreting gauge and valve readings. Cleaning sieves, loading and off-loading material and equipment. – Writing shift reports. – Working with a team. -Executing work orders and perform physical labour work with various hand tools and other manual labour equipment. Cleaning in and around area of responsibility. – Opening and closing of valves. - Maintaining sump levels using pumps and valves. -  Standby and overtime duties as and when required. - Shift worker. - Inform the supervisor of the operations of the pump station and report any irregularities immediately. – Grit cleaning and removal. – Cleaning of screens to alleviate blockage and damages to pumps. - Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time.

DUTIES
-Responsible for loading and off-loading of materials and equipment of the section while wearing the appropriate personal protective clothing issued to them by the section’s management. - Put out traffic signs to warn traffic about workers next to municipal roads during road works. - Clean in and around the working area of responsibility with broom and various manual labour equipment and tools to ensure clean environment. - Maintenance of tarred, gravel roads and stormwater services. - Do any labour related work when requested by either the supervisor, foreman or the superintendent of the section. - Execution of all legal instructions from the supervisor to ensure productivity and smooth running of the section. - Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time.
