Job Description
An excellent opportunity exists for a dedicated, responsible and well experienced individual to fulfil the role of: Finance Administrator based at our Head Office in Alton, Richards Bay. The incumbent will report to the Chief Finance Officer and be responsible for secretarial support and organising and coordinating financial administrative duties for the respective sections within the Finance Department.
Responsibilities
- Assist the CFO in conducting research and gathering information for the compilation of reports;
Serve as a point of contact for the receipt of all invoices, follow up and track progress to
payment of suppliers; - Responsible for maintaining an up to date Records Management System for the Department;
- Assist in the compilation and submission of all reports to the relevant Committees;
- Provide administrative support to the CFO with duties that include:
- diary management;
- general office management;
- compiling and typing reports and submissions for internal and external requirements;
- compiling presentations;
- creating purchase requisitions for the procurement of goods and services; and
- follow up on requests for information and approval of documents.
- Arranging and co-ordinating meetings, taking minutes and following up on Action Items;
- Collating and coordinating submissions for departmental reports to internal and Board
Committees; - Provide administrative support to the section in collecting information and co-ordinating the
submissions for internal and external audit processes; and - General office management duties relevant to the Finance Department.
Requirements
- National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Secretarial/Administration or equivalent relevant qualification
with a minimum of three years’ experience in a Secretarial or Administrative environment - Experience in a Finance environment will be advantageous.
- Good organisational skills, attentive to detail, quality focused, ability to build sound working
relations and work with people from all levels within and external to the organisation. - MS Office and Financial system experience
- Good minute taking and report writing skills
- Valid Code B Driver’s licence.
