Educational Requirements and Experience:  • National Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Information Communications Technology (or equivalent to NQF Level 7) / Post Graduate / CCNP and CCDP/ CCIE • Proven Track record in managing ICT/Telco teams • Experience in diverse Telco hardware and architecture for core, metro, aggregation, access, last mile, converged and collapsed networks • Strong experience in network operations management using advanced monitoring and control tools for inventory, fault, configuration, availability/accounting, performance and security management (FCAPS) • At least 10 (ten) years' experience of which 5 (five) years has been at a senior level in ICT/Telco environment (essential) • Exposure to ISO standards (ISO20000 & ISO27001). • A strong understanding of public institutions legislations (ICASA, MFMA, PFMA, MSA, POPI and HR related).
