Lephalale is one of the fastest growing town in Limpopo due to the presence of natural coal reserves, huge industrial expansion projects initiated by mainly coal mining processing and electricity generation. Dynamic persons who wish to take the leading role in the development and exposure of the Lephalale Municipality are hereby invited to apply for the challenging positions of:

1. POSITION: Manager: Human Resources: L1.2
(Corporate Support Services: Human Resources Division)
Commencing Salary: R453 144- R477 816-R529 344 pia
(Plus travelling allowance of 950km per month)
 
Requirements: B Degree or National Diploma in Human Resources or related fields. Five (5) years' experience in relevant environment and three (3) years 'experience at management/ supervisory position. Management experience- thorough knowledge of all employment terms and conditions.
 
Competencies required: Interpersonal skills, negotiation, attention for detail, managing change, work standards, planning, organizing and communication skills.
 

KPA's Inter alia:. Develop and maintain all necessary personnel planning, recruitment and selection procedures to ensure that the municipality has staff of the right calibre to enable it to meet its objectives. Encourage and maintain sound employee relations by undertaking all necessary consultation and negotiation with employee representatives and by ensuring the effective communication of policies. ​Provide comprehensive human resources advisory services to all Managers and staff to ensure that the Municipality follows best proactive in the Management of its staff and to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Develop, implement and monitor all required personnel procedure relating to staff terms and conditions of employment to ensure that the Municipality complies with legal requirements and best practice. Direct and control the staff of the Division to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained in carrying out their responsibility to the required standards. Maintain comprehensive personnel records to ensure compliance with equal opportunities and other legal requirements and to provide information on staffing issues to the Municipality and relevant bodies. Develop and oversee the implementation of all necessary systems and procedures to ensure data integrity and high level recording of. all HR processes/documentations. Oversee all administration and management of recruitment and selection process, employee relations, talent management, employee assistance programs, learning and development and occupational health and safety.
