Manage existence of the Employment Equity Committee and the development of Employment Equity Plan of the institution. Participate in the development of the Workplace Skills Plan for the institution and ensure the existence of the institutional Human Resource Development Committee. Manage implementation, monitoring and evaluation of employee performance management and development system. Ensure establishment of fully functional employee health and wellness programmes. Manage the clearing of suspense accounts. Oversee the effective and efficient implementation of Performance and Development System. Identify training needs and ensure the implementation of suitable training programmes. Maintain discipline and ensure sound Labour Relations within the institution in terms or laid down policies and procedures. Ensure the high risks areas in human Resource Practices are effectively and efficiently managed guided by the departmental policies and procedures.
