KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (but not limited to)
• Give strategic administrative leadership to the Office of the Executive Mayor.
• Develops policies relevant for the efficient and effective functioning of the office.
• Develop a strategic plan for the Office of the Executive Mayor.
• Develops content for all Executive Mayor’s official documents.
• Ensure that the programs are coherently with the strategic plan for the office.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (but not limited to)
▪ Coordinate the administrative and logistical processes related to the establishment and effective functioning of the municipal Ward Committee System in accordance with relevant policies and standard operating procedures.
▪ Ensuring the effective and seamless implementation of the annual public participation programme which includes the following; Ward Committee Meetings, Ward Committee Capacity Building Sessions, IDP Public Consultation Sessions, Ward Councillor Report-back meetings.
▪ Administer the funds allocated for ward committee support by ensuring the timeous processing of documentation needed for monthly ward committee stipend and out of pocket expenses payments.
