NETWORK SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR – REF: NSA- JW347/2020

REMUNERATION: R308 868 BASIC SALARY PER ANNUM
PURPOSE
Responsible for the technical Support of Johannesburg Water’s IT Local Area Networks (LAN) and Telephone infrastructure for the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the technical support and operational maintenance of network infrastructure at the Depots, Waste Water Treatment plants, laboratories and regional offices. Provide technical support to the wireless network. Develop and implement technical maintenance support to the Voice and telephone network of Johannesburg Water. Provide Maintenance support to the Wireless APN, VPN and 3G networks. Network support and maintenance of the LAN network infrastructure including the cabling infrastructure. Design and develop technical support to the UPS and Power systems that supply power to the Network and server equipment in the Datacetre. Ensure the smooth operating of the Server Room Environment management system.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Essential qualifications and experience:
• National Diploma in Information Technology (NQF 6) / Bachelor of Commerce NQF 7 / or Networking Certification. Cisco / Networking Certificate
• 2 years’ experience in Information Technology Networks environment, Windows, Cisco, Telephony PABX, LAN, Wi-Fi, Routers, Switches, DNS, DHCP, TCIP, Knowledge of Windows Active.
