JOHANNESBURG WATER - MANAGER NEW DEVELOPMENT

 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Resolve customer / consumer queries and complaints related to new connections and new developments. As and when. Ensure use of approved material and is 100% in compliance with specifications. Conduct appropriate / required test and sign off acceptance. Ensure as-built plans are submitted and handed over to Development Control and captured on GIS within specified timeframe. Ensure accurate records are kept and filed. Administer quotations for disconnection of services as determined by Tariff of Charges. Ensure accurate records are kept and presented monthly or as required by Regional Manager for site inspections, meetings attended, final inspection, as-built drawings and record of application of new connection to City of Johannesburg. Manage information on new connections where accurate information is distributed to Operations. Manage Health and Safety and ensure that annual incident reduction is kept to a minimum. Compile monthly safety report and submit to Regional Manager by deadline. Develop and manage individual and team competence by ensuring that personal development program for subordinates are affected by annual deadline.
