REMUNERATION: R891 636 TOTAL COST TO COMPANY
PURPOSE
Resolve customer / consumer queries and complaints related to new connections and new developments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure construction of reticulation is as per approved plans (New Development and CAPEX) and is 100% in compliance to Johannesburg Water standards and specifications. Conduct appropriate / required test and sign off acceptance. Ensure as-built plans are submitted and handed over to Development Control and captured on GIS within specified timeframe. Administer quotations for disconnection of services as determined by Tariff of Charges. Ensure accurate records are kept and presented monthly or as required by Regional Manager for site inspections, meetings attended, final inspection, as-built drawings and record of application of new connection to City of Johannesburg. Manage information on new connections where accurate information is distributed to Operations. Daily analysis of information communicated to Regional Manager. Manage Health and Safety and ensure that annual incident reduction is kept to a minimum. Develop and maintain operating budget. Develop and manage individual and team competence by ensuring that personal development program for subordinates are affected by annual deadline.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· National Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (NQF 6)
· 5 years experience in construction of water and sanitation infrastructure, of which 3 years must be in managerial level.
· Valid Driver’s License
