REMUNERATION: R787 968 TOTAL COST TO COMPANY PER ANNUM
 
 
PURPOSE
Manage and coordinate projects within Investment Delivery and ensure efficient and sustainable compliance with City of Johannesburg and Johannesburg Water legislative requirements for appropriate implementation and management of JW Capital Programme.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan the implementation of JW Capital Programme. Facilitate Environmental Impact Assessment applications for projects. 3. Manage financial system (SAP) for Investment Delivery. Coordinate the implementation of EPWP projects. Coordinate and monitor the work activities of learnership contractors and COJ EPWP Personnel. Provide support and report on progress. Assist on identification of projects for learner contractors. Coordinate the implementation of Municipal Infrastructure Grant funded projects. Ensure effective and efficient implementation of JW projects. Create new projects on SAP and resolve issues. Manage consultants and contractors payment certificates workflow. Manage consultants and contractors payment certificates workflow. Ensure effective implementation and compliance of industry legislative matters. Manage systems and provide support to Users. Manage subordinates. Manage finances. Prepare manuals for new employees.
 
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • B Tech / BSC Civil Engineering (NQF 7) and Post graduate Diploma in Project Management or national Diploma in Finance Management or similar
  • 5 years’ project management and 2 years financial management experience
  • Sound Knowledge of project management principles
  • MS Office packages, SAP and Customer Service
  • Code B Driver’s License
