Johannesburg Water invites applications for Internship opportunities in the below mentioned fields. The Internship Programme will run for a period of 12 months.
Disciplines: 1. Supply Chain
Number of positions: 2
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics/ Public Procurement.
Disciplines: 2. Microbiology
Number of positions: 1
Requirements: S4 in Microbiology/ Biotechnology (all mandatory subjects completed, in need of Practical Training).
Disciplines: 3.Chemistry
Number of positions: 3
Requirements: S4 in Analytical Chemistry (all mandatory subjects completed, in need of Practical Training).
Disciplines: 4. Human Resource
Number of positions: 1
Requirements: B-Tech / Degree in Human Resources Management; Psychology and Industrial Psychology.
Disciplines: 5.Bulk Waste Water
Number of positions: 1
Requirements: BSc with Biochemistry, Chemistry or Microbiology or B-Tech in Wastewater.
Disciplines:6. Communications: Communications & Marketing)

Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Communications
Disciplines: 7. Metering ( Revenue Analyst)
Number of positions: 1
Requirements: National Diploma or Degree (Computer Science, IT)
Disciplines: 8. Metering ( Data Analyst )
Number of positions: 1
Requirements: National Diploma or Degree (Computer Science, IT)
Disciplines: 9. Operations Support : Innovation and Technology
Number of positions: 1
Requirements: BSc Honours/ Masters in Civil Engineering (Note that this is a Research and Project base internship and will not involve day to day Civil engineering activities)
Requirements: Unemployed graduates who have successfully completed a three (3)-year Degree or National Diploma in any field specified above. Applicants are only opened to South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 30 years. Students that still need to finish or qualify for a Degree or National Diploma should not apply.

Please note the following: Applicants who have benefited from an Internship programme and have previous formal employment in the field of study will not be considered. Johannesburg Water will not make provision for transport and or accommodation to any candidate attending the interviews or any appointed candidate from or outside Gauteng Province.
If after your appointment it is established that you have given false information you will be liable to instant dismissal.
